Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  I ran "update-manager -d -s" on an updated maverick system using btrfs
  for / and ext2 for /boot. I tried to upgrade to Natty, but after
  downloading two files (before it starts downloading packages), it
  said, "<b>Preparing the upgrade failed</b> Preparing the system for
  the upgrade failed. Please report this as a bug against the 'update-
  manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in
  the bug report."
