  This has happened with 16.04 and 16.10.

  Installing Ubuntu 16.10 on a separate drive in a Win10 dual boot
  setup.  Windows 10 is on SDA, Ubuntu is installing to SDC (SDB is a
  secondary Win10 D: disk)
