Title:
Installing Ubuntu Budgie on a macbook air, then the installer crashes
after I am notified that grub-efi cannot be installed.

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I'm installing 17.04 beta 1. I had this exact laptop running
previously from this same USB/ISO image. For some reason, this time,
the install fails while attempting to install grub-uefi. Then I get
the crash report (this one). I have tried re-installing approximately
  4 times now.
