To circumvent this problem I backport jarjar 1.4+svn142-6  from zesty.
This fix the FTBS problem.

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  This class "com/tonicsystems/jarjar/asm/commons/SignatureRemapper" is
  missing. The bug has been already fixed in SID jarjar (1.4+svn142-6).

  This makes the system gradle unusable for a number of tasks that
  depends on this class being present.
