Title:
Upon installing latest update i am not able to boot ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Upon installing latest update i am not able to boot ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit. Getting bellow error:-
"GNU- GRUB version 1.97 beta 4
[Minimal BASH- like line editing is supported. For the fist word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device/file completions.]
  sh:grub>_"

What should i do to successfully boot the ubuntu and work normally? Being a beginner guide me in detail.
  Thanking You
