If you have a Windows on the disk, you should start the installer in
bios mode to get a dualboot.

If you do not have Windows, then you should create an EFI-System-
Partitition.

  trying to install ubuntu studio 16.10 on my hp-14 notebook but in two
  times i've been trying the installation fails in the grub
  installation.
