Hi!
Yes, converting that 295-page document does take up a lot of temporary
space with ImageMagick 6.7.7.
Trying it myself seemed to take up at least 6Gb of temporary space.
Perhaps you can split the PDF file into multi parts before you attempt
to covert it?

Bug description:
imagemagick causes out of disk space during converting the (concrete)
PDF file. It fills out temp directory. More than 3Gb is available on
start. No extra CPU is used.
Linux Mint 17 Qiana (based on Ubuntu 14.04).
Version: ImageMagick 6.7.7-10 2017-03-14 Q16.
Command: convert -format png24 -density 150x150 129.pdf "%d.png"
File is attached.
