Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that this
could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install
instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode
install, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system
partition to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you
choose the "use entire disk" guided install option.

  Invalid

Bug description:
  i need to install ubuntu server 16.04. ive installed server and then
  from terminal installed ubuntu-desktop and later added gui but the
  gnome desktop didnt work correctly, some of the gui was unresponsive
  to mouse clicks and unity dash search wasn't showing any results.
  tried reinstalling but ended with same problems. now im trying the
  other way - installing desktop and adding the server features
  manually. but again problem, now with grub package maybe corrupt
  downloads via wifi?
