Public bug reported:
A few of us know that "sudo update-usbids" will update the database of
USB identifiers, which powers the human readable side of "lsusb".
New hardware is released all the time, and won't show up by name
automatically, under current Ubuntu.
Would it be possible to get a periodic automatic refresh of the USB
identifier database, put in for everyone?
** Affects: update-manager-core (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
