Out of curiosity, one wonders what should happen when multiple files are
listed. The current tool reads its input from a (single) file and spits
out HTML to stdout. Should the named files all be read in, and processed
as an aggregation?
At the very least, the documentation should match the behavior.

Title:
markdown doesn't accept more than one input file
Status in markdown package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
The markdown man page shows a synopsis ending with "[ file ... ]", but
only the first file is processed when running it. I tried several
combinations of 30 smaller files, and in all cases only the first file
was processed.
