In India, the way the Unions work in Bollywood is that there has to be
an  operator for  EVERY piece  of  equipment on  set. Crazy right?  So
the average TV show in the US  has a crew  of 10 people. In India, it
would be  5x  as much. If you have a light  on a stand,  you need a guy
to watch  the light and  a guy to watch the stand.
