We apologise for the late response, but Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin
reached EOL on April 28, 2017. See this document for currently supported
Ubuntu releases:

Please upgrade to the latest version and re-test. If the problem is
still reproducible, please update this bug with the new information.
Do feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
In this particular case, I think having a copy of smb.conf would have
helped, but since this is an old bug I doubt that file is still
available.

Don't know what happend, just run:
sudo-apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
It gives me more then 500 MB of updates and i accepted.
