Hm ok, well thanks for the info, but instead of the installer crashing,
it could inform the user about this when you try to reinstall, I'm not
sure it's doing that.

Bug description:
  Trying to install 16.04 from live usb. Installer fails at grub installation.
  Why doesn't the installer switch to the text version and let the user go though the different installation tasks?
