Steve, I was able to find the firmware version at ASM: FW810.20
(SV810_101). Not sure if this is what you're asking.

Bug description:
  I’m trying to install Ubuntu 17.04 on a ppc64le server, however the
  system does not boot after the installation is completed.

  I can install Ubuntu 16.04 using the same settings without any
  problems. I tried guided partitioning with and without LVM using
  netboot and ISO image installer.
