Struggling with this myself - different kind of error though:


$ sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
....

ttf-mscorefonts-installer: downloading http://downloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/arialb32.exe
Err:1 http://downloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/arialb32.exe

Setting up ttf-mscorefonts-installer (3.6ubuntu2) ...

This should ideally by moved to a more reliable hosting solution than sourceforge.net.

Will try the "deb" package mentioned above.
