Except that Tacitus  was born 20 years after Jesus  died, so regardless
of  his  motivation,  he  had no first-hand knowledge  of Jesus'
existence.  While Democritus is referenced by  people who were alive at
the same time, who actually knew him and his  extensive body of work.
Jesus  didn't leave behind  any writings.
