This should have been fixed in later Ubuntu releases. Can you still
reproduce this issue on a recent release?

Bug description:
  At the start of the installation, there was a message about some OS
  not using UEFI.

  This installation was done with the live CD. The existing (15.04)
  installation was a broken upgrade from 14.04.
