We do not have the IBM S822L hardware available in our lab for us to be
able to recreate this issue. Could you please advice if this is still
and issue? If not can we close this bug?

Bug description:
  I’m trying to install Ubuntu 17.04 on a ppc64le server, however the
  system does not boot after the installation is completed.

  I can install Ubuntu 16.04 using the same settings without any
  problems. I tried guided partitioning with and without LVM using
  netboot and ISO image installer.
