  gnome-session-bin installed on Ubuntu MATE

Status in software-properties package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ubuntu MATE seeds software-properties-gtk which causes gnome-session-
  bin to be pulled into the Ubuntu MATE image. This issue arises because
  debian/control doesn't Recommends: mate-session-manager for software-
  properties-gtk.

  To resolve this issue debian/control for software-properties-gtk
  should be updated to:

  Recommends: gnome-session-bin | xfce4-session | lubuntu-default-
  settings | lxqt-session | mate-session-manager, gnome-keyring
