  systemd-journald crashed with SIGABRT in __GI___pthread_timedjoin_ex()

Bug description:
  System was under heavy load CPU/RAM mostly RAM, processes seemed to be
  thrashing endlessly, switching to terminal and then back to X would
  only show cursor in X and rest of screen black.  Had been using Plasma
  desktop w/Kwin_x11.
