Title:
grub-pc-bin not available on chroot fresh install
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
From live ubuntu-18.04-beta2-desktop-amd64.iso
When running "grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck /dev/sda" get this error:
grub-install: error: /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/modinfo.sh doesn't exist.
Please specify --target or --directory.
It's solved with "apt install grub-pc-bin grub-efi-amd64-bin grub-efi-
amd64-signed"
That's because I'm trying to install grub to a MBR partition table in
a UEFI computer. Please add the package by default.
