Public bug reported:

As Ubuntu images now all ship with Python 3 only, this is what causes
Python 2 to be included when samba is installed.

(We are, specifically, seeing this issue in the Azure cloud images.)

** Affects: samba (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
