Title:
  Installation of Ubuntu 18.04 crashes

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Installing Ubuntu 18.04 on a Macbook Pro Retina 15 breaks during
copying files to the destination drive.

  Reproducable

  Installation parameters:

  Encrypt HD (install LVM)
  Install 3rd party drivers

After selecting user, HD encryption key and committing,
Installation program crashes during file copy.

HD is left in a semi-installed state.

Restart of Installation not possible any more (complains about already
encrypted HD and reverts to parameter settings)
