Bug description:
  I switched my PC on, checked for updates via Ubuntu Software, clicked
  Install and all seemed to go well. Then I ran Software Updater, and it
  searched for updates, then came up with 'Please restart your
  computer', which I did, but not before I'd seen a 'System Error'
  Message. PC did not shut down, so I hard-booted it with on/off switch.
  The system started, but still giving a 'System Error' warning. Hence
  this report.
