This should now be fixed between bug #1555305 (squashfs-tools and
symlinks) and bug #1576763 (need to use -no-fragments with mksquashfs).
I was able to snap the above tarball with both of the stage-packages and
pass the resquashfs test fine.

Bug description:
snapcraft successfully builds a snap and uploads it, but then
automatic verification in ubuntu myapps results in
checksums do not match. Please ensure the snap is created with either
'snapcraft snap <DIR>' or 'mksquashfs <dir> <snap> -noappend -comp xz
-all-root -no-xattrs' security-snap-v2_squashfs_repack_checksum
