  I cant install anything

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  There is an Os upgrade waiting to be installed but cant do it at
  all.After click on install nothing happening.Same with everything in
  software centre.Also tried terminal to install a video player,music
  player, nothing happening.
