Title:
valgrind: --xml-socket is broken
Status in valgrind package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Valgrind xml-socket support was broken in 3.13.
This affect Qt Creator integration. See
https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-18473.
The bug was fixed upstream on August
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382998) and the patch was
recently applied in debian (http://bugs.debian.org/870419).
I don't know what's your policy is regarding to debian upstream
updates, but please either update from debian, or apply the patch
soon.
Thanks.
