[Bug 1746106] [NEW] Unable to intall grub

Public bug reported:

This bug happened while trying to install ubuntu 16.04 from live cd into
an external hard disk. The partition was already done. The app said it
wasn't able to install the grub, then I tried to cancel the installation
and in the end the bug report app opened
