Public bug reported:
I am using the nvidia proprietary driver for my GM107GL [Quadro K620]
graphics card.
I have been having problems regarding suspend, hibernation and user
switching because the driver crashes on changing virtual terminals.
I have been using various settings and various major and minor versions
of the nvidia driver. Also tried the nvidia DRM modesetting driver (with
it, the crash happens before even the lightdm prompt).
The only configurations where this problem does not happen is when,
originally because of a typo in /etc/default/grub, Grub boots in "blind
mode" instead of graphical or text mode.
This problem is also reported to Nvidia
