Title:
Automatically rebooting on kernell bootstrap with 'amd64-microcode'
  package

Status in amd64-microcode package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
kernel 3.13.0-151 brings amd/intel microcode packages.
  After reboot
  1) Shows BIOS info
  2) Shows GRUB menu
  3) Starts kernel booting
  4) without 'Ubuntu' splash goto (1)

I had purged amd64-microcode package, and all was working fine.
Today upgrade kernel to 3.13.0-153, and also install amd64-microcode package. After rebooting the situation arose again. After removing amd64-microcode package the new kernel boots fine.
