Your installation medium is corrupt; you will need to recreate it and
may want to verify it using the check disc option at the boot menu.

  Fails to install grub during OS installation

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  During the installation of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, grub fails to install,
  aborting the OS installation. A tried to restart the installation
  several times, but it failed to install over and over again.

  Error message: "The 'grub-efi-amd64-signed' package failed to install
  into / target/."

  I have a DELL XPS 13 9360.
