Could you please provide more details about your system setup, disks
layout and partitioning scheme and how you partitioned your disk with
Ubiquity?

Title:
  grub could not install on fresh ubuntu 18.04.1 ltcs install

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  fresh install of ubuntu 18.04.1 lts on a PC previously using 16.04 lts 32bits.
  I chose options to make sure that I would not loose the content of /home directories.
  I got an error message "sorry, grub could not be installed, your installation will not be able to start".
