[Bug 1774877] [NEW] over ride of old 16.4 sytem. Installation fails at the end when grub needs to be installed

Public bug reported:

First time I can not install ubuntu.

What happens to the user-friendly installation?

Standard installation ends up with the message that Grub can not be
installed and Ubuntu can not be started.

Now windows and Ubuntu are not able to start.

Can somebody HELP!!!
