You tried to install grub to /dev/dm-0, which is a logical volume. You
need to install it to the hard disk ( /dev/sda ) instead. In addition,
17.04 has reached end of life and is no longer supported.

** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  I have not loged out

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I received this "bug" a long time ago when I attempted to work with
  the tor project. It calls it self intruder. It attaches it self to
  the Kernel. I've only been able to update my Linux OS (Ubuntu) by
  swapping out hard drives. I must come from an entity that has my
  identifier. They want to keep me off line.
