I am starting to doubt the theory that livecd-rootfs was responsible. I
have built the livefs locally using livecd-rootfs 2.537 (so pre-dating
the broken images), repacked the latest cosmic iso to include my
squashfs in it, installed ubuntu-server on UEFI and am still
experiencing the same grub prompt bug. Either my test-case is invalid or
the issue lies somewhere else?
