[Bug 1777209] [NEW] Xubuntu 18.04 install aborted due to grub install fail

Public bug reported:

ASUS X55V, 4Gb RAM, used Xubuntu before, trying to reinstall because HD
failure, I asked the guy that repaired my PC to install Xubuntu but he
installed Ubuntu instead.

I tried to install Xubuntu erasing Ubuntu, everything was working well
but failed when it tried to install Grub, it told me that Xubuntu
wouldn't start without Grub and installation aborted.
