Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the installer in EFI mode. You either need to boot the installer in bios
mode, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system partition
to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you choose the "use
entire disk" guided install option.

  Invalid

Bug description:
  Never werks.
  Breken since youbuntu 14.04.
  Every (flaveur letter)ubuntu installer is breken due to this shiet.
  Boot iso into UEFI mode under my laptop ==     :( no I not install grub
  Boot iso into UEFI mode under my desktop ==    :( no I not install grub
  Boot iso into BIOS mode under my laptop ==     :( no I not boot grub I show a flashing "--" 
  Use uefibootmgr under my laptop ==             :( no I not listen to your boot orders nor add a boot option
  UEFI Shell V2 under my laptop ==               ;) hey wanna appear in my bootloading tape ;)

  Also why can't I use a fat32 on /boot ,why the do I have to use arch
  iso to boot install ubuntu ,because the only way to do it is to
  install ubuntu ,boot ubuntu iso create a fat32 partition copy /boot
  add fstab entry for /boot ,boot arch iso which has Uefi Shell and set
  it to boot the kernel/grub

  1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu
  18.04 lts but it's definietlly persistent amongst 14.04 - 18.04
  2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
