  update-manager crashed with ValueError in marked_install(): Object of
  different cache passed as argument to apt_pkg.DepCache method

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The usual software update thing popped up, I clicked OK, entered my
  password (I think), some time passed, and then I noticed this crash.

  Afterwards I noticed that I had several previous meld processes still
  running despite me having closed them some time before the crash. Not
  sure whether it is related or not.
