The problem seems to originate in using a custom partitioning. You
probably have to handle EFI with its own partition, but I would have to
read this up, since I do not know much about EFI. Maybe some
notification during installation would be helpful here.
Nevertheless installation works if I use the standard paritioning, with
one partition for the whole system.
