Sorry, I forgot to give my workaround :
* Turn off the monitor (electrically), disconnect the power cord if need...
* Turn back on the monitor.
* There you go.

Display monitor randomly switch to “economy mode” during boot sequence
and/or login sequence
Status in libdrm package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When my laptop start on a dock with lid closed and with 2 monitors
connected, one DVI and one DisplayPort, sometime, one of the monitors
switch to “economy mode” and turn off, randomly.
* Sometime, it's happen during boot sequence, when text flow is displayed (yes, I remove “quiet splash” in /etc/default/grub).
* Sometime, it's happen on login screen. When it's the bad one, I can't see the login form.
* Sometime, it's happen after login, when the desktop is loading.
* And some other time, on lucky day, it's not happen at all !
Please, give me instruction to found where the problem come from ?
It's really annoying.
Thanks for attentions.
