Title:
ubuntu 18 setup UEFI problem - ok for 17.10.1
Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I tried to install lubuntu 18.04 and setup crashed when
starting/installing grub loader.
Then I installed lubuntu 17.10.1 successfully whereas on Select partition page/windows, it tells user
to not to use UEFI setup mode and go back and continue. When I continued, the setup failed similarly as it failed for lubuntu 18.04. On next successful try, I opted to disable UEFI mode and clicked Go Back, then continued setup which ended successfully.
Provide similar option+dialog to disable UEFI mode in lubuntu 18.04
setup.
