The problem is, that now I can't erase the unstable -and apparently
old!- version - if I try to purge or app-get --remove the corrupted
file, it says that I have to re-install it first. How can I do that if
it no longer exists?!

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  E: Pakket linux-image-4.13.0-21-generic moet opnieuw geïnstalleerd worden, maar er kan geen archief voor gevonden worden.
  E: Interne fout bij openen van buffer (1). Gaarne melden.

  E: Package linux-image-4.13.0-21-generic must be re-installed, but no archive could be found
  E: Internal error on opening buffer (1)

  Due to this error, I can't open Software Center-files nor my package
  manager
