Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu, and sorry for taking so long to
get to it.

The longs confirm that samba failed to start, but do not indicate why.

Could you please try these commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt -f install

If you get errors again, then please attach the samba logs from
/var/log/samba/log* to this bug. They will have information about what
happened.
