Using Startup application one was added to play a sound at login.
This was the command entered
paplay /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/desktop-login.ogg
It works from cold boot but if you logout from the panel and log back in
the system freezes and needs to be rebooted from the top panel.
