Title:
Ubuntu 16.04.5 i386 installer crashes as client for VirtualBox 5.2.16
  on Windows 7 32bit

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Summary: Ubuntu 16.04.5 i386 installer crashes as client for
  VirtualBox 5.2.16 on Windows 7 32bit

Host: Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit (remote controlled via RDP)
  VirtualBox: 5.2.16
  Client: Ubuntu Linux 16.04.5

when the installer is running suddenly the screen turns to "colorful" text mode with random chars.
selection of text-mode install is not possible due to lack of text-mode support.
maybe some opcode is not supported or a privileged command is executed.
