Public bug reported:

I find it hard to believe, but I cannot see where the error else could be.
It seems there is an error in "ubuntu-18.04.2-server-amd64.iso" (Alternative Ubuntu Server installer
).
The SHA1 checksum is correct (57C3A25F2C5FD61596CE39AFBFF44DD49B0089A2)
I "burn" the iso to USB flash using rufux 3.4 and 3.5. Tried two different USB flash drives.

When I do a media check for the install menu I get the attached error.

** Affects: base-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Attachment added: "Media check fails"
