Title:
14.04 LTS does not upgrade to 16.04 LTS
Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I am attempting to upgrade my computer's operating system from 14.04
LTS to 16.04 LTS but, in trying to upgrade my computer's operating
system four times or more, each and every time that I try to upgrade
my computer's operating system, the following message always displays
and I am, therefore, unable to upgrade my computer's operating system
as was promised by Ubuntu: "Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command
'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal."
