Had some cool data in there but the fact is turning of SVIDEO speeded up
the boot time to where it is not annoying and or reasonable.

Charge this to SVIDEO as duplicate? Should the SVIDEO device be pulled,
as it doesn't work, to prevent further problems?

Title:
16.04 to 18.04 boots very slowly

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Did the distribution upgrade. Now the laptop takes over 10 minutes to
boot. It takes minutes to login from lightdm.

Made a slow-boot.tgz file that contains the laptops hardware, blame
messages, boot messages, filtered boot messages showing time gaps
larger than 3 seconds. README has contents for all files included.
