  gdebi won't display content of gzip compressed files

Bug description:
  When I open a .deb file in gdebi and go to the "Included files" tab and click on a gzip compressed file, it should normally show its content on the right side. Instead it displays this error message:
  Error reading file content 'initial_value must be str or None, not bytes'
