[Bug 1816197] [NEW] Ubiquity installation hangs due to Nvidia probe error

Public bug reported:

Installation of Ubuntu 19.04 (disco-desktop-amd64.iso, daily build
2019-02-03 10:50) hangs for around 20 minutes, between the Disk Setup
and the Timezone step. This happens regardless of whether having clicked
to install straight away, or from a live desktop session.

>From a live desktop session, the journal shows the following error
(datetime obviously changes) which loops continuously for the duration
of the installation 'hang':

                                NVRM: was loaded and obtained ownership of the NVIDIA device(s).
Feb 15 22:18:20 kubuntu kernel: NVRM: Try unloading the conflicting kernel module (and/or
                                NVRM: reconfigure your kernel without the conflicting
                                NVRM: driver(s)), then try loading the NVIDIA kernel module
                                NVRM: again.
